1. Our Commitment to Accuracy

At SearchDrive, we are committed to providing accurate, reliable, and up-to-date information to our readers. We take our responsibility as a publisher seriously and strive to maintain the highest standards of journalistic integrity in all our content.

Our Promise: When we make mistakes, we correct them promptly and transparently. This policy outlines how we handle corrections, updates, and clarifications to our published content.

2. Types of Corrections

We categorize content updates into four types:

Corrections

Factual errors that materially affect the meaning or accuracy of the content. These are corrected immediately and noted at the bottom of the article.

Updates

New information that adds to or changes the context of the original story. Updates are clearly marked with the date and nature of the update.

Clarifications

Additional context that doesn't change the facts but helps readers better understand the content. These are noted as clarifications.

Editorial Updates

Minor fixes like typos, formatting, or broken links that don't affect the substance of the content. These may be made without notation.

3. How Corrections Appear

When we make corrections to published content:

In-article notation

Corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with the date and what was changed

Updated date

The article's "last updated" date is modified to reflect the correction

Original content preserved

For significant corrections, we may use strikethrough text to show what was originally stated

Structured data updated

Our article schema (dateModified) is updated to inform search engines
